South Regional TAFE has celebrated its highest achieving students who completed training at a Great Southern campus in 2022.
Students came from Albany, Denmark, Esperance, Katanning, Mount Barker, and Narrogin for a gala ceremony at the Albany Entertainment Centre on Friday March 10.
It was a night of triumph for students as well as TAFE training staff, industry, and employers.
The evening commenced with 34 students from across our six southern most campuses being awarded Certificates of Excellence for their efforts in 2022.
From here the night proceeded with presentation of the Campus Student of the Year Awards, Construction Training Fund Awards, and Major Awards.
Three outstanding students were also named as being overall college winners in their categories. These awards being among the highest achievements possible for a South Regional TAFE student.
South Regional TAFE Managing Director Darshi Ganeson congratulated all students and said they should be very proud of their achievements.
“They were selected from thousands of students who completed a qualification, so being a TAFE award recipient is a huge accolade,” she said.
“It demonstrates to employers that these students have excellent skills and are dedicated to achieving outstanding results.”
