This course covers the basics of how sewing patterns are created as well as tips and tricks to help you improve your sewing skills. Perfect for those who have an understanding of simple garment making and would like to further their skills to open up employment or further education opportunities at a Certificate II level in a fun and supportive learning environment. 

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a statement of attainment for the following nationally accredited units.

  • MSTCL2010        Modify patterns to create basic styles
  • MSTCL3009         Develop patterns from a block using basic patternmaking principles
